3 Day Walkers is the story of the Walker sisters, Laura and Eileen, who despite their differences, must come together to honor a promise made to their mother.  Over the course of the grueling three day breast cancer walk, the sisters face not only judgment of each other, but judgment of themselves, and must seek out what is most important to them.

A short film that was shot entirely on their phones, the viewer is brought along on the journey and experiences exactly what the sisters do.  Filmmakers Laura Walker, and Eileen Rogers, dug from real life actual experiences with their own friends and family members affected by cancer, to craft a semi improvised story that is definitely relatable when dealing with the affect of cancer on a family.  The cinema verite concept was conceived by Ms. Walker, to shoot the entire thirty nine mile walk themselves, in order to properly experience the excitement, fatigue, disappointment and more that the sisters are experiencing in the walk and in their own lives back home. Thankfully, Ms. Rogers agreed, and so we have 3 Day Walkers: 3 days, 2 sisters, 1 promise.
